Thanks for including Bylsma John, I voted for him.

Fans everywhere are going to give it to Crosby every chance they get, everyone should get used to it. The ones who cheer stuff like that are just drunker and louder then the others.

As far as the number of shots Malkin takes, I think it's fine once you consider that he is on the same line as Neal.

Neal has 34 and Malkin 27, or 61 total shots between the two of them. Meanwhile, Crosby has 39 shots w/ Dupuis and Kunitz at 16 apiece; 71 total shots for that line. Given that if you add up the total shots of everyone who's played opposite Neal w/ Maklin is at least 10 shots, both lines are about equal in terms of SOG.

Bylsma had a good impact on the game.

I don't know if fans that don't get to see him as much as the Islanders, like Dallas or San Jose would boo Crosby in those circumstances.

Booing gets so predictable in some places, that I think it's more of a way of firing home team fans than anything else.

Anyone cheering at that is an idiot. I was cringing when I saw it was Crosby as I was freaked out that he got hit in the head again, then I had to cringe because of the crowd reaction. Pathetic. Saw one fan say he booed because he thought Crosby was faking. Lame excuse. Love the Islanders but I love hockey over all of my affiliations. I want to watch the best players regardless if they are on my team. Saying it is only Nassau? That is a stretch. I remember seeing Fleury laughing his ass off at DP on Pitt. bench when Johnson broke his face which led to the infamous brawl later that season.Saw this happen in Montreal and Boston also when there were serious injuries. This kind of reaction has to go away everywhere.

I can totally agree with this but that is not to say Crosby doesn't do anything boo worthy but booing a hurt player whoever it is just shows you have no class

I keep fearing that we are gonna come back on thursday to a game day skate and Crosby is gonna have headaches.

Probably gonna be like this for the rest of his career

I think we're worried about it more than he is, which is good.

Are you content in knowing that he’ll most likely pick things up, that maybe Crosby is playing well right now, but there will come a time when Malkin is needed?

Not really. It's not always that Crosby plays well. Malkin was the better player in the first 3-5 games. Eventually Malkin will get in "NHL game shape". He's a competitor, just needs to wake the f%#& up

Claudette Girouxlette was the one crying about his wrists after he was eliminated in last year playoffs. Good luck this year.

Edit: btw, hope Simmonds get well soon

Worse yet, he was spotted at a Nickleback concert....

If that doesn't scream 'pu$$y' then I don't know what does

Interesting: goalies like Brodeur and Thomas don't bother with 1,2 or 4 days off

MAF,Sid, Despres for me. Martin and Orpik deserve mention for great PK duties.

Not worried about lack of shots for Malkin as much as his overall play combined with some really bad mental lapses. He's arguably the best player in the world, but isn't playing like it. I know it's still early, but would like to see him have some dominant games.
